After Toxic Blood Pressure Medicines Didn't Work and Caused Bad Side Effects, An Herbal Compound Normalized Blood Pressure Quickly, Without Side Effects

     Katie Phillips (not her real name) is a 52 year-old black woman who came to me in May, 2006, because of glaucoma.  She was legally blind, with severe pain and irritation in her eyes.  She requested a Compassionate Use Act recommendation for medical cannabis.  She also reported she was being treated for high blood pressure, rather unsuccessfully.  She was taking three different medications that were causing toxic side effects. but not controlling her blood pressure.  Her blood pressure on that day was 180/114, and that was with her taking the medication!
